Naomi Maclachlan

Policy Officer

Naomi Maclachlan joined University Alliance in 2010. Her particular areas of interest include the role of Higher Education in driving social mobility and the wider role of universities in building the economy both regionally and nationally.  She provides flexible support to the policy team and conducts data analysis across a broad range of areas.

Naomi has a background in pharmacolgy, having studied Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. After graduating, Naomi worked for an investment bank as part of their graduate intake going on to work in Prime Finance Middle Office supporting the bank’s stock lending activity before moving into HE policy.
