Professor Gorman became Vice-Chancellor of Nottingham Trent University in 2003. He led the design and implementation of a radical new strategy for the University drawing on his background in international business management in the private sector; academic leadership; and leadership of the veterinary profession where he is an international authority in veterinary science with a particular emphasis on comparative immunology and oncology.
