What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
In research and teaching every day is unique. From the teaching point of view, it is very rewarding to inspire students and help them to reshape their future and build their career.

From the research side, every project is an adventure in its own right towards creating a better future for individuals and the society.

And the most challenging?
The most challenging is the most enjoyable and rewarding part of the journey, to help a person who might be struggling to achieve beyond his or her own expectations in learning or in research.

What would you be doing if you hadn’t decided to follow this career path?
I would probably be in another sector helping society and individuals. If I wasn’t an engineer and designer most likely I would be working in the medical sector.

How do you relax when you’re not at work?
I enjoy listening to music, cycling and reading.

What’s your favourite blog?
I like to read The Conversation, it is a nice website where high quality academic work meets journalism to create public engagement.

Given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?
I have spent some time thinking about an answer; and I ended up with the conclusion that I would like to stay myself for another day!
