The University of Derby has joined forces with other University Alliance universities to deliver DTA Future Societies, the DTA training programme that launched in autumn 2021.
The Future Societies programme will support solutions-driven research that tackles the world’s most pressing challenges, with projects guided by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the corresponding research priorities of the participating universities.
All DTA programmes deliver structured PhD training in collaboration with Alliance universities and partner institutions. The supportive and inclusive cohort environment empowers students through enhanced training. This ensures that DTA graduates are highly skilled and ready to meet the challenges of a global world. Professional, personal and academic development is at the heart of the DTA programmes.
