World-class research at NTU has earned the institution a Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education – the highest national honour for a UK university. In the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014, 90% of NTU research was judged to be ‘world-leading’, ‘internationally-excellent’ or ‘internationally-recognised’ with 55% classed within the top two categories.
Around £421 million has been invested across the university’s three campuses since 2003/4, developing some of the UK’s most inspiring university buildings. NTU has state-of-the-art management information systems, and was one of the first universities to adopt a paperless approach to admissions.
