Professor Steve West, Chair of University Alliance and Vice Chancellor of the University of the West of England, commented on the announcement that Professor Janet Beer has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Liverpool.“On behalf of colleagues from across University Alliance we congratulate Janet on her appointment as the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Liverpool. Janet has been an incredibly important part of University Alliance, with a strong commitment to providing a positive and constructive contribution to the higher education debate, in particular as its Chair from 2009 to 2012.
