Alliance Vice-Chancellors recently gave evidence to the Education Select Committee which held a special away-day session in Oxford on the impact of exiting the EU on universities.

University and the Alliance’s research lead, both shared their thoughts on the implications for the sector – including the consequences of a ‘Hard Brexit’.
A number of challenges were raised during the committee’s panel discussions including the loss of potential students and staff, uncertainty over the future of the UK’s involvement in international research and the UK’s ability to compete globally following Brexit.
