UA responds to Knowledge Exchange Framework advisory group announcement

Commenting on the appointment of a technical advisory group to begin the development of the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) metrics, University Alliance Chief Executive Maddalaine Ansell said:
“It is encouraging that the Knowledge Exchange Framework will allow for fair comparisons between institutions. This will be important for avoiding a size matters scenario. We want the KEF to capture and reward the fullest range of interactions between universities, businesses and communities.
“The appointment of a technical advisory group to drive the next stage of the KEF is a positive step, sitting alongside the university expert group led by Prof Trevor McMillan which has already carried out extensive work in this area.”
