Following the launch this morning of the post-18 review, we give our initial thoughts.
In advance of our full statement, University Alliance CEO, Vanessa Wilson said:
“This is a serious, detailed report but we have real doubts that the money, legislative space or political impetus is there. Theresa May’s review risks being dead on arrival.
“We will work closely with the government to assess how these proposals can deliver a more progressive system, social mobility and investment across post-18 education.”
