“It’s also now critical for the government to address the issue of placement availability, to ensure student demand for nursing and other essential public sector courses can be met. We’ll continue to work with government to overcome challenges and ensure Alliance universities can continue to support growth in these areas of strategic priority”
Responding to the announcement by the Universities Minister, UA CEO Vanessa Wilson, said:
“University Alliance welcomes today’s announcement as a first step in ensuring universities are able to meet increased student numbers, however further support is needed to build capacity and ensure stability.
