University Alliance Welcomes ‘Super’ University Group in London and South East

University Alliance welcomes the announcement from the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent stating their intention to formally collaborate and create the London and South East University Group.

This bold new partnership represents a major moment for UK higher education, in which two major institutions will combine under a shared structure. whilst preserving their individual identities.

The new group is set to become one of the largest higher education providers in the UK and the biggest recruiter of students in London and the South East. It will enable both universities to operate as one whilst strengthening their civic engagement, supporting students to thrive, and meeting the skills needs of their regional businesses and communities.

University Alliance CEO Vanessa Wilson commented on the news:
