University Alliance hosting this event, in partnership with Microsoft UK, with Shabana Mahmood MP, Shadow Minister of State for Higher Education, looking at the important issue of graduate employability and the future of the UK’s labour market.

Ensuring graduates are ready for work and a fulfilling career is a complex issue, and one that cannot be cracked alone. Students, institutions, employers and government all have a part to play. How do these parts work together to help ensure graduates are able to find work in an increasingly competitive jobs market? How does the higher education system ensure it is able to deliver the graduates our changing economy needs?

Shabana Mahmood MP gave the keynote speech setting out her vision of where we need to go next to tackle the issues surrounding graduate employability. Libby Hackett, Chief Executive, set out the findings of the University Alliance report The Way We’ll Work. You can listen to the seminar here.
