In the news: All academics with ‘major research responsibility’ in REF 2021

HEFCE recently published final decisions on how the REF 2021 exercise will work. The publication confirms that all staff with significant responsibility for research must be entered into the REF, with higher-education institutions themselves largely identifying who that is.

Chief Executive Maddalaine Ansell was quoted in coverage of the announcement by Times Higher Education and Research HE.
