Research Professional has published an article on the priorities for HE policy, which includes finding out how the Office for Students will work and the opportunity to use the forthcoming HE review to fix the continuing decline in part-time students.

If international students are finally taken out of the target, it would be “very positive for universities at a time when other funding is uncertain, and it would enable them to keep their international character,” according to Maddalaine Ansell, the chief executive of the University Alliance group of business-focused universities.
Ansell added that the major review of funding for higher education the government has promised would also be important.
