Powering public services

Alliance universities power our public services, training the nation’s frontline workers and developing innovations that improve local services and enhance our lives.

We train the people whom every community relies on, from the teachers educating future generations, to the police officers protecting our streets to the town planners designing them.

In 2019-20, Alliance universities trained 18% of all social work students; 15% of all teaching training students; and 24% of all students in architecture, building and planning courses in England and Wales.

As the country looks to build back from this crisis, we have the practical mindset, commitment to service and existing relationships within the public sector to strengthen our public services and train the next generation of frontline workers; to help keep this country running and our communities thriving.
